Words to the wise: Don’t mess with a hungry (and drunk) college student as it won’t end well. Luke Gatti (19) a freshman at the University of Connecticut ended up in an altercation over mac and cheese with a food court manager which he wanted to purchase but was refused. The entire ordeal was documented in a nine-minute video of the incident which featured Gatti screaming and cursing at the food court manager who was refusing him service. While it may seem ridiculous not to give the kid the bacon and jalapeno mac and cheese he was craving, it seems that the reason for the denial stems to him having an open bottle of alcohol on him.

Things took a turn for the worse when Gatti pushed the manager which resulted in one of the workers tackling him to the ground. He was then arrested and removed from the premise. He is currently charged with criminal trespass and disturbing the peace of the university. Recently, a video of Gatti appeared on Youtube where he attempted to apologize for his behavior. Whether or not he will be expelled from UC has yet to be determined.

The lesson learned here? That must be some seriously good mac and cheese.
